Cadillac's Plans for the 2013-15 Model Years Reportedly Consist of New Flagship Limo and Escalade
Car lovers, the next two years is going to be a busy time for Cadillac in terms of new creations the Detroit car maker has enough on its plate consisting the presentation of a flagship limousine loosely based on the well-received Ciel convertible sedan concept.

We heard a report from Automotive News citing sources from within General Motors outlines Cadillac's plans for the 2013-15 model years.

You know, GM has provided the green light for the development of a full size, rear-wheel drive luxury sedan which is going to sit atop of the range rivaling the Audi A8, BMW 7-Series, Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Jaguar XJ as says by the insiders.
Car lovers, this model is going to be built on a new platform called Omega. it is assumed to be presented with a choice of V6 and V8 engines, probably in supercharged form, an eight-speed automatic transmission and the option of all-wheel drive.
Moving to the styling, it is going to draw based on last year’s Ciel study. The as-of-yet unnamed flagship is said to come around 2015.
Alongside with the new 2013 XTS front-and all-wheel drive sedan which is the recent Cadillac's largest saloon model and that went on sale in June, the wreath and crest brand is going to make the premiere of the upgrade SRX crossover this fall, while the BMW 3-Series-rivaling ATS sedan in August.
Moreover, the Alpha rear-wheel drive platform-based ATS seems spawn a V-Series Performance model and a coupe within 2014. However, the plans for a convertible variant have been put on hold for the time being and Cadillac will not be making a sport wagon variant as reported by Autonews.
Subsequently for Cadillac will be a substitution for the all-important CTS which is because of arrive in sedan guise in the middle of 2013 as a 2014MY.
The CTS V-Series and Coupe performance variant are going to follow by 2015, whereas sources mention that there will not be a station wagon model.
Car lovers, Cadillac will put in an all-new SRX crossover in late 2014 or early 2015, a larger crossover based on the Lamda platform that supports the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Traverse, a substitution for the Escalade SUV built on the next Chevy Tahoe, and the ELR Coupe fitted with a similar electric propulsion system to the Chevy Volt in late next year.
