2011 ASTON MARTIN V12 ZAGATO-

2011 ASTON MARTIN V12 ZAGATO-Aston Martin will have a new concept car inspired from the Italian design house Zagato that is combined with its predecessor, the DB4GT Zagato. The DB4GT is one of the most famous Aston Martins of all time that made its debut in 1960 at the London Motor Show. The new 2011 Aston Martin Zagato model will come in public at the Villa D’Este Concours on the 21st of May 2011 and make its racing debut at Nurburgring on the 28th of May.
The V12 Vantage model is the basic of the new V12 Zagato incorporating the technologies used in the One-77 supercar.  The model is handcrafted with aluminium as the materials for the body. This makes the team able to shape the car’s form, creating a beautiful and muscular design car. Besides, the design or the concept is made using computer based modeling techniques mixed with crafting traditional clay models in order to give a real world idea of proportion, stance and detail. The design itself, the V12 Zagato, looks elegant yet brutal reflecting the great balance between race performance and pure Aston Martin Style.
The new V12 is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine that can produce a total of 510HP and 420lb ft of torque. The engine is mated to a rear mid-mounted, six speed automated manual gearbox with auto shift manual/select shift manual (ASM/SSM) electric hydraulic control system that sends the power to the rear wheels.

The new V12 Zagato will have the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Porsche Turbo S as its competitors that they offer the same performance with the V12. With all its benefits, unfortunately the V12 Zagato will only be produced in limited number of production units, differentiating it to its competitors.
